Dominion of Jurassic World

 

Universal has just released the official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion, the final instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise's latest trilogy. 

Colin Trevorrow's film, which was shot during the epidemic and had its release date pushed back, will finally be released on June 10th.

Jurassic World Dominion is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Emily Carmichael, and is based on a scenario by Trevorrow and his writing partner Derek Connolly. 

It is the follow-up to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise and the third instalment in the Jurassic World trilogy. 

Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley will produce the project, with Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg, the filmmaker of Jurassic Park (1993), serving as executive producers.

 Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Daniella Pineda, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, Omar Sy, and BD Wong reprise their roles from the previous films in the franchise in this film.

Mamoudou Athie, Scott Haze, Dichen Lachman, Campbell Scott, and DeWanda Wise join them.

Steven Spielberg's original Jurassic Park redefined special effects by combining animatronic dinosaurs and high-tech CGI.

 The initial films' hyperrealistic dinosaurs helped transform the franchise into the box office monster it is today, and encouraged several generations to fantasize about prehistoric monsters.

While most modern films rely too heavily on CGI, Jurassic World: Dominion director Colin Trevorrow recently teased that the future sequel would feature more animatronics, restoring the classic Jurassic Park appearance and making the film more realistic. 

That would certainly sweeten the ending of the new trilogy for fans, especially as Dominion is bringing back some of the original Jurassic Park cast members, including Sam Neill as Alan Grant.

Ellie Sattler is played by Laura Dern, and Ian Malcolm is played by Jeff Goldblum.
