James Snyder, star of "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child," was sacked after a code of conduct complaint.


Jack Thorne's 2016 British two-part play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is based on an original storey by J. K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Thorne. On 7 June 2016, previews of the play began at the Palace Theatre in London, and it premiered on 30 July 2016. 

In a statement, the producers stated they received a complaint against Snyder from a female co-star in November and suspended him immediately. The female co-star of the Broadway production has opted to take a break from it.

The play premiered at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway on April 21, 2018, after previews began on March 16, 2018. Anthony Boyle, Sam Clemmett, Noma Dumezweni, Poppy Miller, Jamie Parker, Alex Price, and Paul Thornley all reprised their roles from the previous year in the West End.Anthony Boyle, Sam Clemmett, Noma Dumezweni, Poppy Miller, Jamie Parker, Alex Price, and Paul Thornley are among the returning cast members.
