The Offer, a TV series based on 'The Godfather,' has released its first trailer.
Michael Tolkin developed and wrote the 10-episode programme, which is based on Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy's "never-before-seen experiences" making the classic mob drama (The Player).
On Tuesday, at Paramount+'s virtual Television Critics Association presentation to reporters, the footage was published.
Miles Teller plays Ruddy, while Matthew Goode portrays legendary producer Robert Evans, Juno Temple portrays agent Bettye McCartt, Giovanni Ribisi portrays real-life crime boss Joe Colombo, Dan Fogler portrays director Francis Ford Coppola, Burn Gorman portrays industrialist Charles Bluhdorn, Colin Hanks portrays business tycoon Barry Lapidus, and Patrick Gallo portrays author Mario Puzo.
Teller took up the lead role from Armie Hammer, who left the programme in late January after many women accused him of sexual misconduct.
The showrunner is Nikki Toscano (Hunters). The first block of the series was directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman).
